P3 Achieves Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle OPERA

We have achieved Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Hospitality for the Online Check-in/Check-Out technology that reinforces our integration with OPERA.

P3 Hotel Software, a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced that it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Hospitality Hotel Expertise for the integration of its Online Check-in/Check-out software solution with Oracle Hospitality OPERA.

Expertise is a core tenet of the modernized Oracle PartnerNetwP3ork (OPN) program and allows Oracle partners to highlight their capabilities in a focused area. Ultimately, Expertise is designed to make it easy for customers to identify partners who can deliver quality solutions and minimize risk for their specific needs.

In order to achieve the Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Hospitality Hotel Expertise, partners like P3 Hotel Software must meet a series of qualifiers, including demonstrating that the integration performs as documented. P3 Online Check-in/Check-Out helps drive operational efficiency and encourages direct customer engagement on hotels’ websites. These solutions save time as guests can bypass reception and complete the check-in and check-out process using their own personal devices.

Online Check-in/Check-out

P3 Online Check-in/Check-Out is designed to work exclusively with Oracle Hospitality OPERA. The products are integrated via the Kiosk and OPERA Web Services (OWS) interfaces and facilitate an enhanced experience for guests, with reduced friction points for both guests and hotel operators.

Guests receive automated emails prior to arrival, inviting them to check in online by computer, tablet or smartphone. Guests click a link in the email that takes them directly to the hotel website’s online check-in process. All required guest data for check-in, such as digital signatures and passport IDs, can be captured before arriving at the hotel, while the solution also integrates with online payment providers.

When combined with the OWS interface, P3 Online Check-in/Check-Out can enable additional customer upsell features, including room upgrades and in-house add-on packages such as breakfast, dinner or spa treatments.

In the online check-out process, guests have access to the invoice of their stay and can pay for any outstanding in-room charges on their bill by credit card. Once they complete their check out, it will automatically update the OPERA system to change the status of the room. This update is automatically sent to the housekeeping staff to inform them which departure rooms are empty and ready for cleaning.
