P3 Will Exhibit at HITEC Orlando From 27-30 June, 2022

A good hotel is ever alert to the needs of its guests, with staff dedicated to ensuring that everyone who walks through their doors enjoys as comfortable and relaxing a stay as possible.

But what about before a guest arrives? Too few hotel operators know first-hand what a member of the public experiences during their online booking journey.
 

That will all change at the HITEC conference in Orlando this month, when delegates will get an opportunity to walk a mile in their guests’ shoes thanks to an immersive interactive experience designed by P3 Hotel Software.
 

P3 will provide hoteliers with a complete end-to-end walk through of their online booking journey – including features such as their artificial intelligence-powered booking engine, integrated secure payments solutions, and online check-in/checkout.
 

This will demonstrate how hotel customers move through the booking process, the obstacles they encounter, and how investing in fully integrated solutions enhances the journey and drives direct bookings.
 

“As the old saying goes, never judge someone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. Well, hoteliers need to be acutely aware of the challenges their customers face,” said P3 chief executive Phelim Pekaar said.
 

“That’s why P3 has devised this immersive interactive experience for HITEC – to allow hotel operators to experience the online booking journey as a guest, to show them the challenges guests can face, and to demonstrate the technology solutions which enhance the guest journey and drive direct bookings.
 

“We’re really excited to be showcasing these online booking journeys and solutions via computer, cell phone, and kiosk platforms at HITEC.”
 

HITEC 2022 is the world’s largest hospitality technology show and comes during an exciting year for P3, which has seen the Irish company secure an investment of €750,000 and open its first US office, in Boulder, Colorado.
 

P3 has also brought two new products to market. The first, a booking engine driven by artificial intelligence, was developed with AI company Arvoia. It deploys technology similar to that used by Netflix and Instagram to derive a behavioural understanding of the needs of each guest in real-time and prioritize the most relevant rooms, hotel amenities and content accordingly.
 

The second product, P3 Essential, is a cost-efficient booking engine which can be rolled out in just one day for an all-inclusive, flat-rate fee starting at just $175 per month.
 

Phelim added: “P3 has really committed to the North American market. I’m now based in our new US office, we’re hiring staff, and we’re working with partners such as Oracle Hospitality to demonstrate the value of our software solutions for US hotels, hotel groups and resorts.
 

“Being at HITEC in Orlando is an important part of our plan. HITEC is the largest show in the world for hospitality technology. It’s where we need to demonstrate our capabilities and build on a US strategy that is already paying off as we roll out P3 software solutions into an increasing number of hotels and hotel chains, universities, and casino resorts across the United States and Canada.”
 

P3, a Strategic Oracle Partner which currently works exclusively with Oracle Hospitality, will occupy booth number 2301 at HITEC 2022 in Orlando, from June 27-30, 2022.
