P3 was founded in 2000 in the aftermath of the tech bubble crash. It started as a web design agency building websites, and later evolved into an eCommerce solutions provider working solely in the hotel industry.
Since 2015, we have been working exclusively with Oracle Hospitality’s hotel clients equipped with OPERA, the market leader Property Management System for hotels.
In the last 5 years, we have seen a steady growth in our customer base and have tripled our number of employees.

CEO
The founder of P3, Phelim is a Trinity College Dublin Engineering Graduate. He is a hands-on leader with a proven ability to sell and deliver high-end products to blue chip companies. He graduated in Manufacturing Engineering specialising in “Lean Engineering”. He spent two years working in manufacturing facilities throughout Europe, running projects introducing lean manufacturing processes. On returning to Ireland, he changed his career into IT and received a Masters and a Diploma in Computer Science from both DIT and Trinity College Dublin. He founded P3 in 2001, and has grown both the company and his experience in the hospitality sector over the past 20 years.
CTO
After graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a mechanical engineering degree, Peter realised that his entrepreneurial drive was best served in IT, so completed a one-year post-grad in Computer Science at University College Dublin. After gaining extensive coding and design experience with large blue-chip companies in Telecomms and Utilities Peter joined P3 to apply that know-how to P3's hotel solutions. Peter enjoys making technology do the complex-work, whether that be for large hotel chains or boutique hotels. The methodical approach gained from his engineering degree coupled with his team-leading ability in roles in a number of sports clubs and bodies gives Peter the qualities needed to lead the technology decisions and software design at P3.
Chairman
John joined as Chairman of the Board in July 2016. He is a former managing partner of KPMG and Chief Executive of Fyffes PLC. He has been the director of a number of Irish companies including Bank of Ireland, Rabo Bank Ireland and First Active PLC (Chairman), Glanbia PLC, Esat Telecom, and Topaz Energy (Chairman).
At P3, our UX/UI Design team are involved in all projects, from design architecture to functional layout, since the kick-off meeting. They are ready to create, change and refine the product design from a user experience perspective. Working closely with our customers, they understand the hotel's brand and analyse what worked before and what didn't to create a bespoke design that best reflects the look & feel of their brand.
Our Development team are behind the entire product implementation. They get involved in building, coding and testing every product launch, ensuring that releases roll out smoothly and efficiently. Our dedicated R&D team continually work to bring innovation to our products and introduce new features. Our Technical team are always available to discuss aspects of our products' integrations or help with any troubleshooting issues.
Our Support team and Technical Account Managers have expert knowledge of our products, the OPERA environment, and the hotel industry as a whole. They are ready to help our customers with world-class levels of support and to advise them on the best way to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently. Through our ticketing system, our Support team collect and track all customer support interactions and strategically assign them to the Development Team.
